  	From East Kent Marriage Index (on FMP, viewed 28 Dec 2015) (Shows Geo Hawke married Ann Carden) PRs go back to January 1583/4 and then there is a gap until 1577; since the marriage of George amd Anne took place during this gap the information is probably from the ATs, esp. as the lack of a marriage licence entry in Cowper suggests the data is not from that source. Not many 'Hawke(s)' events in Elham, but a Rychard Haukes was buryed there on 29 Apr 1584. Was he an infant son of George and Anne, or possibly George's son by a previous marriage?
