Gender Male Miscellaneous Excommunication Occupation 4 May 1541 to 5 May 1561 Bircholt, Kent, England

Ref. for appointment of the next curate wasn't until 1555 - does this indicate Christopher was there until then?
The stipend for this position was from the parishioners.

Perpetual Vicar - End date assumes Christopher remained vicar until Randolph Calverley was instituted on 2 Mar 1568/69. (I am assuming the date given, as 1569, is NS year)

John HALKE, b. Est 1433, d. 1492, Wye, Kent, England

Notes - I am not certain that the Christopher who was a priest was the Christopher, son of John and Agnes. However, I have found no further reference to him as a layman, he appears to have been about the right age (first reference I know of to him as a priest is 1541, suggesting born before 1515, last is 1569, so not likely to have been born much before 1490).
