  	In Bill of Chancery case dated 1 Feb 1609 Richard Halke (the orator) refers to his marriage as being about ten years before, and to Alice, the daughter of Thomas Raynes. (C 2/JasI/H24/42) Hastingleigh website shows Alice as a PEMBLE, I don't know where this is from, but it seems to be incorrect. When he died Richard's wife was Alice, but he may have been married more than once and she need not have been mother of all (or any) of his children
