Jonathan JARVIS

-
Name Jonathan JARVIS Relationship with Teresa Ann GOATHAM Baptised - Was Jonathan the one baptised in East Portlemouth in 1740 or 1748?
1740 would seem most likely, a man was more likely to start a family at 28 than at 20. If baptised on 20 Jul 1740 he was the son of Richard, who married Mary Randle in East Portlemouth on 11 Apr 1733.
Richard met an unfortunate end in 1782, when he was poisoned by his apprentice.
(The Jonathan who was baptised in 1748 was the son of Jonathan and Mary; I think that the father was probably the Jonathan who was brother of Richard, baptised in East Portlemouth in 1709)
