      Witness John Inman could have been Em's uncle, who lived in Margate. I understand it was staying with her uncle and his family in Margate (her cousin, my grandmother, Maggie Inman and Em were good firends) that Em and Percy met. However, it is rather different from his signature when he married in 1872, so I think it was most likely the signature of her cousin John Inman, son of her uncle John (I haven't seen his signature of even his handwriting).
