with Teresa Ann GOATHAM Born Abt 1689 - Between 1688 and 1698 i.e. between his parents marriage and his father writing his will.
A 1707 document relating to the dispute with creditors after his father's death (TNA ref: C 22/21/36) describes him as then aged about 18 or 19, hence the approximate date of birth given here.
Gender Male Bequest Abt 1699 In his father's will - Left 'the Gray mares Colte & the little horse' but also 'all my goods & chattles Lands & tenemts not yet given or bequeathed'.
Given that he appears to have been aged only about 9 when his father wrote his will it is surprising to find he was named as Executor.
Oath of Allegiance 5 Jan 1714/15 Newton Bushell, Highweek, Devon, England 
Loyalty oath - An Oath Act of 1715 was passed in 1715 for 'the further security of his majesty's person' (George I).
This act required that all holders of certain public offices must swear their loyalty to the King. This included the clergy, local magistrates, schoolmasters and hundred constables among others (in 1723 an Act widened those needing to sign to 'every Person and Persons whatsoever' who had not already signed as a result of the 1715; 'any person ...' was subsequently clarified as meaning men!).
Amongst those who swore at oath at Newton Bushell, 5 January 1715 before John Lear bart, Rawlin Mallock and William Bogan esqs was one John Narramore, hundred constable of Haytor Hundred.
Kingskerswell was in Haytor Hundred and I suspect that the John who signed was this John.

Regarding the date:
TNA document says
"Anne Narramore & John her son did in or about the sd year of our Lord God one thousand six hundred eighty & eight upon his the sd John Narramores intermarriage with Agnes Wills now the wife of William Ball both Defts to the now Complts bill & in consideracon of the sd marriage & before the solempnizacon thereof by deed convey ..." - yet the document quoting John's will also gives the date 1688 for him writing it, and in it he refers to his 4 children.
Either one of the dates is wrong or John was married before. However, if I have the right baptism for him, he was rather young to have had several children by an earlier marriage.
I think most likely the date of the will is wrong - 1698 would fit much better, or if the scribe mis-read a nine as an eight he may have done so with both digits and the year been 1699.
