    Notes
    • (Research):Were Philip and Jenny nee Norris the parents of Richard or Elizabeth, both baptised in Cornwood in 1802?
Decision: this couple probably the parents of Richard who was a witness to Peggy's marriage; being from a large family she was more likely to have a sibling as a witness than some sort of cousin. Also, Richard is shown as son of Philip the carpenter, Elizabeth as daughter of Philip the farmer.
(Also P and J senior had already had a dau Eliz; I haven't worked out if she was still living; they'd also subsequently had a Betty who was still living, but may have seen the names as different ones)

Mother Jenny NORRIS,   d. Yes, date unknown
    Married 1784
    • I'm not really interested in this couple - I have just added them and their children to help me sort out which children belong to this Philip and Jenny, which to the couple who married in 1799, during the years when both were having children.
(And inevitably, 1 or 2 of the children of this couple DO belong on this tree as they married Northmore cousins)
