Mary RICKSON
Set As Default Person -
Name Mary RICKSON Relationship
with Teresa Ann GOATHAM Baptised 29 Mar 1669 St. Mary of Charity Church, Faversham, Kent, England
[1] Gender Female Died - When Mary's husband Thomas wrote his will in 1720 it is clear that he had a wife Mary living. But was it this Mary? She was not mentioned in her father's will ...
Buried 28 Mar 1710 St. Mary of Charity Church, Faversham, Kent, England
- From img. on FMP.
"March 28 Mary wife of Tho: Mason" - under heading 1710
I believe the burial is of this Mary, wife of Thomas, since there is no mention of her in her father's will, and no other burial in Faversham that could be hers before then. Thomas remarried to another Mary later in 1710, so that explains the mention of a wife Mary in his will.

[2] - In 1649 Dorothy's guardian was her brother-in-law Vincent Brice (husband of her sister Mary). Vincent was, like Michael, a Faversham Hoyman, and it seems probable that as such he knew and was a friend of Michael's and introduced the two; quite likely Vincent arranged the marriage.
