    1. [S255] Chancery Court case: Becon vs Gorham 1870, Becon vs Gorham 1870., Ref. C 16/618/B98 (Reliability: 3).
      There is a reference to George Beacon being "accompanied by ... William Beacon his son by a former marriage" (former that is to his marriage to Ann Reynolds). This was referring to an event on 7 Aug 1843. Although this is in wording excepted as George was objecting on the grounds it was scandalous, I suspect most of it is accurate, and certainly that this son existed.
