Looking for the marriage of a John VOGWELL to a Mary Ann, with first known child born 1851, the most likely looks to be q1 1851 John Heals VOGWELL to Mary Ann Mountjoy.
BUT John Heals VOGWILL died 1893 aged 70 i.e. suggests born 1822/3, whereas the censuses suggest he was born about 1818.
(A better match on age at death is a John VOGWILL d q4 1892 aged 73, but no marriage found to match this.)
HOWEVER, looking at baptisms there was a John Hele VOGWILL bapt 1817 so it look like the age at death registration was wrong.
Hence I am confident this is the right marriage.
