This Guy or his son? - I think it is this one as it is in Marden, it's more likely that his son should have moved away than that he did late in life (though he could have, to live with a child after being left a widower in 1760)

Shows Thomas Grigsby of Marden married An Champion.
It appears that the PR does not show whether Ann was a widow or a spinster. Whilst the fact that Ann had children with Thomas indicates that she was younger than him, marrying a 54 year old Ann was quite likely a older bride than most and may well have been a widow.
Thomas may have had more children with Anne, but I think the two for whom I do not know of baptisms were (as I show them) more likely the offspring of Sylvester. See notes attached to marriage with Sylvester. There was about a 17 month gap between Thomas and Ann marrying and having their first known child. Time for one child who survived infancy before John, but only if Ann was pregnant at marriage.
