    • Since his wife was described as "wife of Edward" rather than "widow" when she was buried on 18 Aug 1787 it suggests he was still living and not the Edward buried in July that year - or was it that dying so soon after him she was still thought of in that way and so recorded as such?
      If the 1787 burial wasn't him it appears he must have been buried elsewhere - probably due to going to live with a child after being left a widower (if it was him, his father probably moved away in circumstances as just described)
