“Thy will be done”Notes - (Research):The marriage record shows Henry married a Thomasine Treen (there are only the 2 names on the page). With the gravestone suggesting Henry's wife was born c. 1862 the 1903 marriage could well be of a widow. However, no Treen = Thomasine marriage can be found.
Looking at Treens born in Newton Abbot RD which includes Torquay (shown as 'May's birthplace in the 1911 census) one finds an Eliza Tamson Treen, born 1863.
It seems probable that she was the Thomasine Treen that Henry married. Looking for her in earlier censuses I have found her in 1971; although the family were by then living in Hatherleigh it does confirm her birth was in Torquay.
