    • Age recorded at death and in the 1841 census suggests he was born c 1765 / 6.  The Wm Reed bapt 1770 would seem to be the one who marr Mary Spurr, not the one who marr Margaret Light.
      There was a Wm Reed bapt in Milton Abbot in 1766 (son of John and Elizabeth) - could that be the one who marr Margaret?
      The burial of their grandchildren near a Reed grave in Sheepstor suggests a link with that family - but the link may be on the Light side (the grave is also near Light graves)
