Thomazine NARRAMORE
Set As Default Person -
Name Thomazine NARRAMORE Relationship
with Teresa Ann GOATHAM Born Est 1610 - Taking into account supposed age of her father at death and dates of her childrens marriages
Gender Female Residence 1654 South Brent, Devon, England
- Her father describes her as "of Brent" in his will which it seems clear is an abbreviation of South Brent.
Buried 26 Jun 1679 St. Petroc’s Church, South Brent, Devon, England
- From PR entry (image on FMP, viewed 2 Mar 2015)
"26: Thomasine Foster Aff. 29" - under headings 'June' and '1679'
** POSSIBLE burial of this Thomazine **
Unfortunately the South Brent burial register at this time gives no information beyound name and date; the burial could therefore have been the burial of this Thomasine's young granddaughter. No other burial that could be this Thomasine's found in South Brent, but none found for her husband either: they could have moved to another parish or died before the surviving PRs start (1677),
Siblings1 brother and 1 sister

Father Walter NARRAMORE, [Parents?], b. Abt 1560, bur. 20 Apr 1659, St. Mary the Virgin Church, Ideford, Devon, England
(Age ~ 99 years)
Other Partners: Joan WILCOCKS m. 25 Feb 1640/41Married - Given the gaps between their estimated births Walter and his first wife may well have had more children who didn't survive infancy; the 3 shown are known of through their father Walter's will. And there is no evidence that Walter had only one wife before Joan Wilcox - he could easily have had 2 or more, and Bartholomew, Thomazine and Ibbott may not have shared a mother.

Family George FOSTER, b. Est 1608, d. Aft 1669 (Age ~ 62 years) Married Abt 1627 - In Thomazine's father's will, written 1654, he mentions "my daughter Thomazine the wife of George Foster"
I guess that the marriage took place about 1627, as the two lives on the lease of land George Foster entered into in 1626/7 were 'Lives: lessee and Thomazine, daughter of Walter Norramore of Idford'. (DHC catalogue entry)
I guessed that Thomas was the son of George and Thomasine as these were the names he and his wife Amy gave a son and a daughter; a lease at the DHC adds weight to this, and provides more family info.
Also, there were 2 contract in 1657 and 1659 with George as lessee where the lives were his 3 children, Thomas, Robert and Martha.
If my estimates of the dobs of these 3 children are anything like the real dates then there were almost certainly older children born to George and Thomasine.
