Name John THOMAS Relationship with Teresa Ann GOATHAM Gender Male Occupation From 1832 to 1833 H. M. Dockyard, Devonport, Devon, England Shipwright - When he married Eleanor (place not given), when his father-in-law died
Died Yes, date unknown Notes - (Research):Who was this John?
The burial of a John Thomas b c 1826 is recorded on PWDRO website - has low quality (i.e. mostly unreadable) pictures of the stone.
The stone is to John Thomas, Eleanor Thomas who I guess might be his step-mother and her parents. Eleanor died after her parents but she is listed first - I guess her husband John had the stone erected after her death. John junior is shown last.
He is shown as John Thomas, died 29 April 1859, aged 33 years.
John senior and Eleanor did not marry until 1832; Eleanor was a widow at the time but as often happened John's marital status was not shown. But I guess he was a widower and John was his son by a first marriage.
