"Margaret Northmore was Bury'd in Woollen March 27th. A: P:"
I thought A: P: might mean 'Affidavit Presented' i.e. that buried in wool, but it appears after the first entry on other pages, including where the first entry was not a burial. Perhaps it was the priest. Not the Rector was Charles Williams, instituted in 1735 and still there in 1744 (from Episcopal Visitation of 1744, transcribed data on the FODA website), but he was not resident in Meavy most of the time. Could have been a curate - a William Brent was curate in 1744, but could have been someone else in 1737. No entry for Meavy between 1622 and 1782 on the CCEd website (as at 26 May 2024).
There was also a burial of a Margaret 13 May 1724 but that was probably her infant granddaughter, born about 3 months earlier.
This Margaret did have another granddaughter Margaret born 1731 so it could have been she who died in 1737, but she would seem to be the only Margaret Northmore likely to have been the one who married in Plymouth in 1757. Hence I think the burial was this Margaret.
