    • There was a John Reed bapt 2 Sep 1671, s of Richard, in Whitchurch who could be this one, but there were probably quite a few potential candidates (i.e. right area and timeframe) if all PRs were transcribed.

      "John Reed - O" - I think the date (month) probably begins with an O, the bit of the page with the date has rotted away!
      Was it this John Reed? - hard to be certain, burial of his wife describes her as "wife of" which implies she was still living then (1751), so it probably was.
      But he had a grandson John bapt 1741 who I've not identified in other records so it could be him, or his son, bapt 1713!

    • Too common a name to know if he signed the oath in 1723. Three possibilities -
