    Notes 
    • (Research):Cudlip not a Meavy name but loads in Tavistock.
      Mary would seem to be from a Bickleigh family; she had a sister Gertrude (or, to be accurate, 3, the first two so named dying in infancy) and I think that a pet form of this - Gatty - became a name used a number of times among Mary's descendants.

      A Gertrude Cudlip of Stoke Damerel was bur Bickleigh on 14 Oct 1781 - presumably this was Mary's sister.

      Bickleigh bapt seem to be online on FMP from 1694, and to only survive from that date, though there are earlier BTs (so far as I know, not online). 1st entry in the PRs is Gretrude, dau of William Reap, ba 17 6 1694. Quite likely the same Gertrude who was bur 3 11 1710. Only non-Cudlip Gertrudes in Bickleigh - co-incidence or related?
