John Hawkom to Susan Wadey
Both 'otp' when they married, by banns.
Their subsequently living in Boxgrove makes me believe that John was this John, and they called their first child James - naming a first son after his paternal grandfather was very common.
Only marr I can find of a John to a Susan in the right period, and it's just before bapt of their first known child.
