Notes Married:
- From PR entry (image on FMP, viewed 22 Jun 2015)
William Ching of Slapton, Jane Harris of East Allington spinster, by banns, both signed, witnesses Roger Edwards [probably Parish Clerk] and Thomas Baker (also both signed)
The children are all left bequests in the will of Jane's aunt, another Jane Harris (married name Bellamy). For this reason, and because I was looking at the family to see if there was a close link between this William Ching and the one who was a brother-in-law of Jane-the-aunt's husband Matthew Bellamy; there does not appear to be.
