Notes Married:
- From article about John Bigge
When Sybilla married John Bigge he had already had 6 children, but 4 had already died, and so she became step-mother to just two, John aged 7, and Samuell, aged 3. Sadly neither of these made it to adulthood, either, dying aged 10 and 9 respectively.
I don't yet know what happened to Sybilla, whether or not she remarried. Aged about 46 when John Bigge died, it is unlikely if she did remarry that she had any children.
Marriage License:
- "Bigg, John, of Maidstone, salter, widr., and Sibylla Beacon of Otham, v., about 37, whose parents are dead. At Otham. George Yonge of Cant., apothccary, bonds. Sept. 16, 1634. Note. This allegation is made and signed by George Denly of Maidstone, g."
George Yonge was the husband of Sibylla's cousin Rachel Becon.
