of August one thowsand five hundred ninetie nine: I Chrofer Haukes<\/p>\n

of Petham sicke in bodie but of perfecte remembrannce make and ordeyne<\/p>\n

my last will and testamente in mann[er] and forme followinge first I bequeath<\/p>\n

my soule to Christ my Reedeemer and my bodie to be buried in the<\/p>\n

churchyard of the parishe of Petham Item I geve and bequeathe unto<\/p>\n

my wife Abigall Hawke during hir life one parcell of land called Kemps<\/p>\n

crofte and the said parcell of lande after the decease of my said wife I<\/p>\n

geve unto my sonne Richard Hauks in fee simple: Item after my debts<\/p>\n

paid and fun[er]all chardges dischardged I geve all the rest of my goods unto<\/p>\n

my wife Abigall Hauks and my five children John Richard Agnes<\/p>\n

Marie and Ellinor Hauks to be devided amongest my said wife and five<\/p>\n
