Name Elizabeth STUBBERFIELD Relationship with Teresa Ann GOATHAM Born Abt 1706 Otterden, Kent, England - (assumed from baptism)
Baptised 12 Jan 1706/07 St. Lawrence’s Church, Otterden, Kent, England - From the IGI, accessed 15 Jul 2011.
Surname spelt Stubborsfield. Date given as 1706 - I don't know if this is OS or NS
Most Stubbersfield (etc.) were in the Bromley area in NW Kent, a good distance (nearly 40 miles) from Wichling, but this baptism took place in an adjacent parish to Wichling so it has to be a good contender to be the right Elizabeth.
Looking at Hoath register for late C17th (for other names) I happened to notice "Stublefeild"s there.
Gender Female Died Aft 1776 - An Elizabeth Springfield was buried 18 Oct 1741, but it cannot be this one, as, assuming Edward hadn't remarried to another Elizabeth, she was still alive when Edward died in 1776; hence I assume the earlier burial was the mother in law of this Elizabeth.

Other Partners: Audrie SEARS m. 1 Jan 1687/88Mother Margarett PACKINGHAM, b. Between 1666 and 1675, d. 1737, Otterden, Kent, England (Age ~ 71 years) Married 31 Jul 1690 St. James’ Church, East Malling, Kent, England - From PR entry (image on FMP, viewed 28 Oct 2022)
"July 31 married James Stubbersfiel & Margarett Packingham"
(Of 33 marriages on the two facing pages on one of which this marriage is recorded not one bride or groom is recorded as a widow or widower, so it seems clear that this was not being recorded in the register at the time. Hence it is possible that Margaret was not born a Packingham.)
James and Margarett are not likely to have married before Margarett was aged 16, which is very unlikely to have been earlier than 1682 (from date their last known child was baptised), and presumably married by time their first known child was baptised in 1692. If daughter Margret was their first child, then they probably married shortly before this.
Hence the East Malling marriage is a "good fit", date-wise at least. It is somewhat further from Otterden or Lenham, where their children were baptized than was usually the case at this time. However, James may have been a farmer, and farmers did often move further than ag labs; presumably if they didn't inherit a farm the chance of one being available very close to home at the right time was slim.
Also in favour of it being the James and Margaret who married in East Malling who then had a family in Otterden, as well as no other marriage being found, the children baptised in Lenham and Otterden were the only children of a James Stubberfield (or variants) baptised in Kent, 1690-1710.
Possibly the move for James was to the area Margaret was from, maybe she inherited property or it was part of a marriage settlement. (See Margaret's birth notes on some thoughts re her origins).
James and Margaret seem to have moved to Otterden Parish c 1693 and lived there for over 40 years, up to the death of Margaret in 1737.
Since their daugther Elizabeth married yeoman farmer / sometime Wichling churchwarden Edward Springfield I guess they were of similar standing. They may well have farmed at the farm associated with Stubblefield Farmhouse (also marked on OS maps).
