    Removal - Bredgar to Langley
    • This John's grandparents and their children were acknowledged by Langley parish as having a right of settlement there in a settlement document supplied to Bredgar in 1787. Presumably nothing had happened to change this John's father's place of settlement, and so this John inherited Langley as the parish that would support him is the need arose, although he was born in Bredgar.
A removal order was served by Bredgar in 1822.
Described as 'John Pryor junior'. With his grandfather dead, I think his father was 'John Pryor senior' and this John 'junior', especially as no family were mentioned on the order.
