Date on passport application (1915) given as 25 Nov 1868; place here from 1881 census and passport application.
Since date given in passport application is after the baptism date and after the birth registration it seems it is one year out. The marriage licence showed Thomas as being aged 49 on 25 Nov 1916, providing additional evidence that we are dealing with the Thomas born in 1867, and also names his parents, and shows him as born Kent, further confirming it was this Thomas.

His seventy five year old father did not die until 1921, but Thomas' mother had died a few months before his visit, in April 2015, so his father may have been more grieving than ill.

I imagine the 'Methodist parsonage' where they were married was in Greenwich, although the item is not clear.
