- From the 1901 census where shown as aged 30 and the 1911 census where shown as aged 42. Earlier censuses all give an age ending in 2, suggesting 1868 or 9. Precise place from the 1871 census.
No sign of a birth registration as a Wellington, unless Henry was his middle name AND the age is wrong in all the censuses.
Recorded as a Wollaton in the 1871 census, the whole family (i.e. the household of Henry, his parents and siblings) had the variant Wellington in 1881.
It seems this was a change, and the usual spelling was Wollaton before, being used for Henry's birth and his parents marriage.

The 1911 census shows that Henry and Susan had by then had 12 children, 3 of whom had died. I can only find 10 of these, looking on GRO online index for a mother's maiden name of Uren or anything 'phonetically similar', and looking at all Wellington infant deaths in Totnes RD, 1894-1911.
I have also looked for Uren births before 1894, but not spotted any likely looking (i.e. illegitimate and born in Totnes RD or west Devon)
It would seem that the figure 12 includes the two children Henry had with his first wife.
