    • As well as the 2 burials in the 1670s, a 'Wlliam Pepprell senr of Ditscombe was buried the 5th of Aprrell' 1651 - that could have been this William, if there was a younger one in the Parish, but it could also easily have been a William from an older generation.
    Notes 
    • (Research):William and Johan were the parents of Nicholas but I am * just guessing * that they may have been the parents of my ancestor, John.

      A Cisly Pepperell, dau of Wm, was bapt in Slapton on 9 Apr 1621 - the same Wm or a diff one (i.e. same as father of Nicholas?)

      The William who died in 1671 left a will, but no copy of this is known to exist, it is just a list item.
