(Shown as born Knaresborough in 1861, but given that everything else matches I'm sure it must be the correct Mary).

    • GRO ref: CRAVEN, Mary q1 1878 aged 69 Knaresbro' RD 9a 81
Details from death registration entry (GRO register copy)
Not only is this a slightly better fit age-wise than the death of a Mary Craven who died in q1 1886 aged 75, but there is no sign of this Mary in the 1881 census, and most importantly the informant of the death was Hannah Inman, niece, present at the death and resident Kirkgate.

    • From Parish Register (viewed in Record Office, image now on FMP)
By banns, both signed, witnesses: James Craven, Joseph Waters
(John Towland who signed most i.e. probably parish clerk); Susanna described as single woman (n.b. not spinster)

Assuming I have the right William and Susanna, they probably had children before Mary and Sarah, could have been born / baptised wherever the militia was (to be researched).

An Elizabeth, daughter of Wm and S Craven was born and baptised in Barnsley in 1803, a Thomas son of Wm. and Susanna in nearby Penistone in 1808. Were either or both of these children of William and Susanna from Knaresborough? I haven't found an alternative marriage for them.

Though there were 3 children of a William and Susanna baptised in Wakefield, 1802-11, a William and Susanah had married in Wakefield in 1802, so those children were almost certainly theirs.
