  	Date from the tree of Mark Hamilton that is online - no response when I contacted the owner. A birth about 1600 would make Anthony unusually old, though not exceptionally so - I have several examples of widowers remarrying at this age or older and having more children. I don't know if there is evidence he was this age or married to someone else before or was this just very approximate?

  Origins
  Notes	(Research):No Anthony found in Meavy Protestation Oath - so may not have been born, or too young, but haven't seen all neighbouring villages (so far only those on DevonHeritage website). Possibly significant, there was a John JETSON made the oath in Meavy - I suspect this might be Anthony's father. Jutshams etc include a fair no. of unusual names - particularly Clement, Bernard, Lewis. Does this suggest Huguenot orgins (or link)? (Clement of Holbeton left a will, probate granted 1638; Nicholas of Holbeton left a will, probate granted 1742) Also Armonel, but that appears to be thro' a marr to an Armonel Ellis. Lewis found in Meavy, Buckland Monachorum, Revelstoke and Holbeton suggesting these families are linked. Also some in Modbury.
