The Military Cycling Display: ready for volley firing
The unit took place in the Royal Tournament in both years my great grandfather was with them; in this picture he is 3rd from the left in the front row.
I don't know if this was the Royal Tournament Display or if they also displayed elsewhere.

Marksman Spoon - 1899
I don't know the significance of this spoon - was it an award for being the best? Or given to all on reaching a certain standard?
The top shows it was connected with the Volunteer Cyclists.

This shows it is connected with the 26th Middlesex "VRC" (Volunteer Rifle Cyclists?)

On the back of the military display photo ...
Ten small photos have been stuck around a printed photo (from a newspaper I think). Most if not all of the small photos appear to have been taken when at camp.
The 10 small photos and then the newspaper photo follow (assuming you are viewing this in the "JBH in the Middlesex Cyclist Volunteers" album)

I don't know who this is.
I guess he was a close friend of my great grandfather's - or maybe a relative.

'Carrying the C.I.V. invalid ashore at Southampton'
"Carrying the C.I.V. invalid ashore at Southampton"
I don't know why this picture is here. I believe CIV must stand for the City Imperial Volunteers, about which more can be read in the Wikipedia article. Raised in January 1900 to fight in the South African War, it was a a composite battalion recruited from the London units. Presumably this invalid is someone who had previously served in the Cyclist unit with my great grandfather.…
