Name Martha FIELD Relationship with Teresa Ann GOATHAM Born 1816 Wallington, Surrey, England Baptised 6 Apr 1816 All Saints’ Church, Carshalton, Surrey, England - Wallington was only a hamlet and not an independant parish when Martha was born whereas neighbouring Carshalton dates from C12th which probably explains why her baptism was in Carshalton. (as Wallington grew after the railway arrived, a Church - Holy Trinity - was built in 1867 and Wallington became a separate parish).

Father Charles FIELD, b. Between 1784 and 1788, (possibly), Sherington, Buckinghamshire, England , d. 24 Mar 1874, Sutton Place, Carshalton, Surrey, England
(Age ~ 90 years)
Mother Martha, b. Abt 1788, (possibly), Carshalton, Surrey, England , bur. 6 Apr 1816, All Saints’ Church, Carshalton, Surrey, England
(Age ~ 28 years)
Married - No marriage yet found. I have no idea if Charles and Martha married before Charles moved to Surrey or after. Was Martha from the Carshalton area, from the area where Charles came from, had she like Charles and his subsequent wife/ves moved from another part of the country to Surrey, or had he worked elsewhere after leaving his home area and before settling in Carshalton - and married there?
Unfortunately at the time of writing this note (Feb 2020) Buckinghamshire is stil poorly covered online. The Carshalton area is well covered, so the marriage was probably not there.
