    • There was a Martha born abt 1847 in the 1861 census shown as "Martha Swann" born Lambeth - living in Kensington, presumably servant (no relationship, haven't checked original only transcript). I think this was probably not this Martha due to the birthplace discrepancy, but I've found no other in that year to fit her. It may be that she was with her employers and not in the country at the time of the census.
