Baptised 23 Mar 1852 St. John the Baptist Church, Bredgar, Kent, England - From PR entry (image on FMP, viewed 18 Jun 2019)
Abode Bredgar, father William shown as a labourer. Name shown as Jane Elizabeth.
Gender Female Residence 1881 4, Draysons Square, Faversham, Kent, England - Single in 1881, living byself
Occupation Ag labourer 1881 Residence 1891 7, Belvedere Road, Faversham, Kent, England - With her sister Caroline and Caroline's family in Faversham. No occupation shown, with Caroline having seven children aged 12 and under I expect there was plenty of housework to occupy them both, as well as probably seasonal work such as hop picking.
However, her death certificate shows her as having 'no occupation', rather than showing what she did before entering the workhouse. If she had long had TB perhaps she was too weak to work, and may have been little help toher sister.
Poor Law Resident in the workhouse to 1894 The Union Workhouse, Faversham, Kent, England - Her 'home' at the time of her death (from burial register).
Died Cause: TB (‘Phthisis Pulmonalis’) 1 Jul 1894 The Union Workhouse, Faversham, Kent, England - GRO ref: Goatham, Elizabeth q3 1894 Faversham RD 2a 429, aged 41
I think it is safe to assume she died in the register, as that was her home when she died; since workhouses were often the local hospital had she needed hospital care that would almost certainly have been in the workhouse.
Buried 4 Jul 1894 St. Mary of Charity Church, Faversham, Kent, England - From PR entry (image on FMP, viewed 28 Nov 2016)

"William Goatham Bacheler and Charlotte Evans Spinster [sic] ..."
Married 15 May 1841 St. John the Baptist Church, Bredgar, Kent, England - GRO ref: GOATHAM, William to EVANS, Charlotte q2 1841 Milton RD 5 441
Details from PR entry (image on FMP, viewed 20 Jun 2019)
Charlotte was shown as a widow when she married William, with her father named as 'Robert Barrel', though 'Barrel' seems to be a mistake for 'Barrow'. Her maiden name is variously shown as Barrow or Evans on the birth certificates of her children (information from the GRO online index, viewed 5 Nov 2016).
The censuses show Charlotte was born about 1817 in Faversham and there is a Charlotte Barrow who fits this perfectly. In addition, in the 1841 census Charlotte Barrow's mother is living in Bredgar very close to William and Charlotte (just a couple of entries apart on the census), with an Aylett family. It seems that Charlotte's sister Ann had married one John Aylett in 1834, and Ann's mother was with them. I think it probable that after Charlotte was widowed by the death of her 'Evans' husband she went to live with or at least visited her mother and sister in Bredgar, and thus got to know neighbour William Goatham.
William was still shown as married not a widower in the 1871 census, but Charlotte was not with him and their 3 youngest. She was living in her birthplace Faversham when she died; whether she had left him and was there in 1871 I don't know.
