Eight were with them in the censuses, this is the only Boden with a mother's maiden name of Higgins born between their marriage and 1911, so I thought Albert was their ninth child, the one who died before 1911. This is confirmed by the baptism entry.

RD 6b 158Although his middle name is given as Edward, there was no birth registration of an Albert Edward BODEN anywhere in England or Wales before 1897, and I think the probable explanation is that it was this Albert, registered at birth as Albert Henry.
