  • Wills (transcripts)
    The will of James Hambling (c. 1762 - 1837)
The will of Chares' grandfather, James Hambling
James left Charles his wearing apparel, to be shared equally with Charles' brother John.
James had 12 grandchildren by his son William, all born before he wrote his will. However, he only left bequests to the oldest 5, of which Charles was the youngest, so he just made it into those remembered in the will.
