Gender Male Church Office 1706 All Saints’ Church, Petham, Kent, England Churchwarden - This Thomas or one of the others? (i.e. his son or the Thomas who died in 1712)
One of the Thomas Halkes was Churchwarden when a new or replacement bell was cast in 1706, as one of a ring of 3, and his name was included on the bell.
But in 1760 the three bells were disposed of and replaced with 6.

Notes - (Research):I thought at first that this Thomas had remarried to Sarah, but it is clear from the burials that there were two Thomases in Petham in the latter part of the C17th and early C18th.
The age at the burial of this one shows that it was the son of John who married Margery - UNLESS both were the same age.
(The comment in the register 'husband of Sarah' for the other shows which burial of Thomas was which)
