    Cause: Ramollissement of the Brain 
    • GRO ref: GOUTHAM [sic], Elizabeth q1 1844 Liverpool RD 20 348; GRO online index shows age as 18 - this Elizabeth would have been 16 but I think close enough.
      I think the death must be this Elizabeth - I can't find another whose death it is likely to be, and Elizabeth seems to disappear from censuses etc.
